A memorable moment by LindaMay
First of all, any moment with Bobby is memorable! I guess I would have
to say that this past August 25, 2001 at the Lincoln RI show was extra
special for me because I had the priveledge of giving Bobby two special
gifts : one was the money we raised at the gathering for his Foundation,
and the other was giving him the "Book of Fan Autographs"
that everyone made for him. He seemed to really like the book and spent
a bit of time looking through it. This book had photos of everyone who
attended the gathering, their names, and then an "autograph"
or special message that each person wanted to say to him. I think he
really appreciated it. Also later on during the show, he thanked everyone
for the donation to the Foundation. It was also memorable to get to
give him a hug and talk with him for a few minutes - even though I don't
remember much of what I said because I was so excited to be there! He
was so sweet and kind - a true gentleman. Richard Gere should take lessons
from Bobby on how to truly be an "Officer and a Gentleman"!
That's my story! So hey, do I get royalties for it or anything !!??
LOL Well, maybe another hug from Bobby would be nice!!!
