Terry C. and Bobby...
A moment in time:
My dream came true
A moment I will never forget, October 4th 2008. I met Bobby Sherman in person thanks to my family member that works for the LAPD. The event was a fundraiser for the LAPD foundation. How I met him was that my cousin told Bobby that she had a cousin that was coming to help out in one of the booths and was a big fan and she'd really liked to meet you. Bobby said yes. So when he had a moment, he came to my booth. I was so HAPPY. He said, "Hello Terry". I let him see a picture that I received from the fan club and my membership card to show that I truly was a fan and that I was in his fan club. My family members took pictures of me and Bobby. Oh, I could hardly wait to download them so all my readers could see them. Some of my conversation that I had with Bobby was that, of course, I love Karaoke and that at Steven's they know me because every week I always sing his song "Easy Come Easy Go" or "Little Woman". He was happy that I would say that. The Karaoke dj will have a surprise this Thursday when I show him the picture and at my work place. In our conversation I also mentioned as a teenager I went to see him at Zodys and he told me he remembered there was a whole big line around the corner. I told him that I was one of them. My mom couldn't afford to take me to one of his concerts but you know I did see him at the Greek Theater. And I told him I was there for K-Earth.
And now to actually to talk to him, that was so sweet to have a conversation. He came to our booth not one, but two separate times. One more time, I bought an LAPD little bear. It's so cute. He autographed that one for me. By then he remembered my name. Hopefully, perhaps we will meet again. Thank you Tisha. You really made my day. I'm so happy and dreams do come true. Bobby is so cool. I will never forget this day. The little girl came out in me meeting him and to actually talk for awhile. His autograph, his pictures and the memories of yesterday and the special hug he gave me, that meant a lot to me.
Peace and Love Bobby always!
