A few of the cards had "Ask Bobby Sherman" questions on them...
Card #1
Q. Bobby, what's your biggest wish?
A. I'd love to repay my folks for all they've done for me. I know that is really impossible, but I'd like to try. I think a fellow's greatest ambition is to make his parents proud of him.
Card #9
Q. Bobby, what's been your biggest thrill?
A. I've been so lucky that it's tough to pinpoint one. I suppose that a dream come true for me was receiving my first gold record for "Little Woman." Having a million-seller was really a groovy thing.
Card #18
Q. Is it true you're a good cook?
A. I don't know about "good", but being a bachelor I do have to cook fairly often. When I have the time, I must admit it's kind of fun to prepare a seven course meal for some friends.
Card #19
Q. What would you like to do in the future?
A. I want to remain in show business, but besides being on T.V. I want to act in a movie. Maybe eventually, I could even write or produce a film. Being behind the scenes would be as great as performing!
Card #25
Q. Has a girl ever turned you down for a date?
A. They sure have! People think I'm kidding when I tell them that, but it is the honest truth. I'd say the thing to do is not to let it bother you and just ask the girl out again on another occasion.
Card #31
Q. Bobby, are you a good dancer?
A. That's funny, because I've had some girls tell me I was pretty terrible on the dance floor and others say that I do fantastically. I think it all depends on the girl I'm dancing with!
Card #34
Q. Do you have trouble working with other people?
A. No. I'd always heard that people in the entertainment world were temperamental and hard to get along with...maybe I haven't been around long enough, because I've only met nice people in this business.
Card #40
Q. Who gives you your haircuts?
A. Believe it or not, my best barber is my mother. She'll usually just trim my hair where it needs it, so I can go without a haircut for long times. Mom is a professional beautician.
Card #43
Q. What do you look for in a girl?
A. Most of all, I like a girl to be natural. I'm never at ease when a girl is putting on airs or trying to be something she is not. When someone is being phony, it shows right away.
Card #45
Q. Is it true you love pets?
A. Yes, they're my biggest weakness. When I was a kid I was always bringing home strays. I remember two cats and a couple of dogs that we had. Luckily, my parents love animals too.
Card #53
Q. What kind of girl would you marry?
A. Do you remember the girl Candy Pruitt on "Here Come The Brides?" She was the type that I go for. Candy was kind, sweet and understanding...and above all, she was faithful. That's what I look for.
