"My Life in Pix"

Bobby Sherman - 16 Magazine - February 1969Join Bobby on Memory Lane as he recalls the happy years of his childhood.

Hi! Welcome to "my world of yesterday"! Recently, I stopped by my parents' home in Van Nuys, California, and Mom surprised me by pulling out some of my childhood photos. After perusing a while, I chose my favorites and thought you might like to join me as I reminisce...

When I was six months old, I posed with my two favorite girls - my lovely sister Darlene and my beautiful mom Juanita!

The reason for my unhappiness here was due to the fact that I had broken my collarbone and couldn't run wild. The fly on my arm was pretty contented, however!

My first birthday party. I ran around with an older group of friends at that time - but Mom was there to look after me!

When no one was looking - I practiced the latest dance steps. Here I am doing the Pony - years before its time!

"My, what a chubby little boy," people would say - and now I can see why!

Darlene and I posed for this pic on Easter Sunday when I was three years old. How do you like our bonnets?

My very favorite toy. This jeep meant more to me than the Rolls Royce I drive today. Well after all - it was my first car!

I was six years old and just starting school when this serious shot was taken of me. I wouldn't look into the camera!

This is how I looked a few years ago - backstage just before we taped a segment of Shindig. Have I changed much?
