Vicki Lawrence - Bobby Sherman
Doin' What Comes Naturally
When love starts to bloom there's a special lilt in the air. Trees are greener; flowers smell sweeter; and the sun is sunnier than ever. That's what happened when Bobby Sherman, (ABC's "Here Come The Brides") met and dated Vicki Lawrence, (CBS's "Carol Burnett Show").
The two young stars both believe in love at first sight - and it was with real pleasure that they learned that they shared many interests outside of their TV work.
Both, for instance, are very keen on music. Vicki, who only did bit roles before joining Carol Burnett, was a member of the famed Young Americans singing troup, and did a tremendous amount of traveling with the group.
Bobby got his first break on "Shindig," a few seasons ago, and only lately decided to forego his singing image to concentrate on acting for a while. Hence this year's stint on "Brides."
At any rate, meeting each other was fun - their first date promised to be one of many - and our cameras were there to record it all.
What did Vicki and Bobby do? They talked, they took a long walk, and they played some duets on their guitars. And they made another date for the next day. That's what comes naturally - even in Hollywood.
