Shindig for Two

A swinging fun session for Bobby Sherman and our Teen Editor...

When Bobby Sherman was in new York for the Shindig show's appearance at the Academy of Music, he also took our Teen Editor out to dinner. He told her how he got his lucky break - singing at a party Sal Mineo gave. Sal was so impressed with him, that he suggested an audition for Shindig. The result - he was hired immediately and is now considered its male star. Donna Loren is the girl star. Before he got his break, Bobby had been a statistician, something he did well, but, in his own words, "hated like poison." His hobby is photography and he owns every conceivable kind of camera, both still and movie. He thinks his mother is beautiful (she is), his father very understanding. Bobby is not satisfied to be just a singer with the show and hit records, but plans on studying acting intensely and invading the dramatic field. A native of California, Bobby loves people, particularly pretty girls like Heather, travel and his work. He also believes he's been lucky!
