The Joy of Our Pets During the Holidays
So many of us are pet owners and treat our pets as our children. I know I do with Max, Murphy, Micky and Molly, my four furry babies. In honor of our precious darlings, I am offering a fund raiser to help two groups of pets that are in need. First to the animals that are lost, missing and confused after Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana. As many of you know, I lived in Louisiana for 18 years and often visited the areas affected. But I am concerned for these innocent pets who have no idea why their lives were suddenly turned upside down. Secondly, to the organization that Georgyne has called Precious Paws. She is a part of our "Bobby" family and we need to support her and her endeavors with animals.
For a donation of $20, I am offering a DVD of Sanchez of Bel Air. It contains all twelve episodes that Bobby was in. The series only had 13 episodes, but Bobby was not in episode 2. The DVD is unedited and has all the commercials, but excellent viewing. It is my original taping done when the show aired. I made a back up tape that I have used to make VHS tapes over the years.
This fund raiser has been posted on the fan club web site for several weeks and received much enthusiasm. I have been told that I should ask more, I will leave that up to the individual if they would like to make more of a donation. The money raised will be divided between the two groups.the Louisiana Humane Society and Precious Paws. The offer will be made available through February 14th.
